Where should I fly to?

Inverness is the closest airport to the venue with connection flights through many cities in UK and Europe (e.g. Edinburgh, London, Amsterdam, etc...).

However, if you are planning to travel before or after the wedding, flying into Edinburgh is more advisable.

How can I get to the venue?

From Inverness, we recommend using the local taxi service.

From Edinburgh, we will be organising transportation shuttle to the estate.

​

If you planning to travel, we highly recommend renting a car so you can enjoy the Scottish Highlands. There is plenty onsite parking at the venue.

Will I stay at the estate?

The Achnagairn Estate can accommodate all guests, between the castle and the mini manor.

Staying at the venue is optional, but we would love to host everyone.

How much is the accommodation?

Accommodation at the estate is a flat rate of $400/£320 per room for the entire stay.

This will include 2 nights of stay (Sunday 18th of Aug and Monday 19th of Aug night) and breakfast.

How big are the rooms?

Double, twin, triple and family rooms are available.

​

We will take everyone's requirements into consideration when assigning room allocation.

Can I book more than one room?

Room availability is limited at the estate which ultimately determined how many people we could invite.

​

So, if you got an invitation, it means we really like you.

​

However, if you have any special requirement we should consider, please let us know and we will do our utmost best to accommodate it.

How long are we staying at the estate?

Check-in is on Sunday, 18th of Aug at 4:00PM and check-out is on Tuesday, 20th at 11:00AM.

Can I send an wedding gift?

Your presence at the wedding is the best gift we could wish for as we want to celebrate with you.

However, if you still want to send us a gift, we have prepared a registry with some bits and bobs we would love to have at our house.
